Innovations in science, technology and business models are benefitting societies globally in unprecedented ways. One can clearly visualize the possibility of improving living standards of the poorest in the far reaches of the earth. In order to fully exploit these developments and deal with the negative disruptions in many quarters, especially in the developed world, necessary steps need to be taken. The steps obviously would be ‘training, retraining and retooling’. Scholars University can contribute significantly in this direction by providing the necessary knowledge base where ever it is needed – irrespective of physical location. With the available means of communications knowledge base can be delivered in remote villages of Africa, U.S. mid-west or aborigine villages of Australia – every where.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]Scholars University is located in the heart of California’s Silicon Valley from where the tech giants are driving the engine of innovation and change. As a matter of fact, most of the faculty and administrators involved at Scholars University become aware of things today that would be happening tomorrow. So, it should be easy for us to develop the necessary tools that would be necessary for the work force all over the world to match the anticipated scenario.
I see Scholars University starting where the established Universities and Institutions leave off. The great universities of U.S.A. and rest of the world are giving young people the basic knowledge on which they need to build and rebuild newer skill sets continuously for a long time to come. This will not only ameliorate the pain of disruption but help create ‘industry ready’ workforce and open new doorways for the striving ones. I as President of the University would try to engage the top most academics and industry professionals to lend us hand and help spread their expertise across the globe.
